The FDI & Wrigley Photographic Award 2009 gives you the chance to reveal your creative side by taking a photo of something that makes you smile. The photos don’t need to be from a dental surgery but can be funny family or reflective photos that bring a smile to your face or that raise a grin.

The Award is just one of the initiatives that Wrigley Oral Healthcare Programs and the FDI have worked on during their long partnership, which began in 1992 when the oral care benefit of chewing Wrigley sugarfree gum was recognized.

To participate, submit your digital photographs (up to five per person), include a title, state where and when the photo was taken and 50 words describing how it makes you smile. The competition is open to all members of the dental profession and dental and hygiene students over the age of 18.

Important dates to remember

• Opening date: 15th March 2009
• Closing date: 8th July 2009
• FDI Dental Congress, Singapore: 2nd-5th September 2009

Winners will be notified via email or the contact phone number provided and names will be posted on this website by the 4th August 2009.
